Maltese recipes 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi guys,

i have found some Maltese recipes and I tought that maybe someone wants to give it a try. At least I did and they were delicious. I'll come back with pictures but if someone else has, please be my guest.

So, the recipe of the day is:

Bigilla (Spicy Beans)

500 grams of dried broad beans
1 biig head of garlic crushed
1 dash of Tabasco sauce
1 chili peper
3-4 table spoons of parsley - chopped
1 tablespoon of marjoram - chopped
1 tablespoon of mint - chopped
2-3 tablespoons of oliveoil

1. Put the beans to soak overnight between 10-12 hours
2. replace the water 2 times before puting it to boil
3. Bring to boil and let it simmer until the beans are soft
4. Mash the beans in a serving disd and add the other ingredients

Tips: the best serve is with white toast a dash of olive oil on top.

Good apetite for today
