Sole Alfa 147 Ducati Corse in Malta to make public debut Print E-mail
The only Alfa 147 Ducati Corse limited edition model found in Malta

Finished in dazzling Giulietta red, with Ducati Corse racing stripes across the sills and logos all around, complementing a unique set of 18 inch alloys to match the shiny and satin-look bits. The inside is adorned with black leather-clad hip-hugging sport seats with red stitching and adjacent Ducati Corse embroidery on the headrests.

An array of bling-bling is also present with alloy racing pedals, gear knob, and 147 Ducati Corse kick-plates. White dial Ducati Corse instrumentation with ice-white illumination complement the classic Alfa red controls among which sits a red button called Sport, which enhances the throttle response of this "pocket rocket".
Some data: 0-100 in eight seconds flat and a top speed of 215km/h. All this comes from an over boosted ECU controlling a 1.9VVJTD 16v engine shoving 170 cavalli down a six-speed gearbox tractioned to the wheels via a Q2 Torsen Limited Slip Differential.
Yes, this from a diesel, but nevertheless an Alfa Cuore Sportivo bred one, a spokesman for UCIM Co. Ltd, official agents for Alfa Romeo in Malta, said. UCIM will be organising the Alfa Romeo Weekend.
The event will be complemented by a selection of Alfa Romeo models, which the importers say have now become much more attractive with new 2009-registration pricing providing considerable savings across the range of up to €10,000.
Also on display will be classic Alfa models courtesy of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and Ducati Motor bikes courtesy of their owners.
For the occasion, the Marsa Sports Club restaurant will also have Alfa Romeo branded wines available on their menu.
